Dutch Court to Auction M/V ‘Esmeralda’ and M/V ‘Annalisa’

On 6 August 2013, the M/V ‘Esmeralda’ and the M/V ‘Annalisa’ are scheduled to be auctioned before the court of Rotterdam at Wilhelminaplein 100-125, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, at the request of Rabobank, the Netherlands. Rabobank has decided to auction the two vessels now that their owners can no longer meet their financial obligations.

The two cargo ships are built in the Netherlands, by Damen Shipyard Hoogezand in 1998 (Esmeralda) and Bodewes shipyard ‘Volharding’ in 2000 (Annalisa). The sale of the vessels will take place by Dutch auction. Both vessels are registered under the Antigua & Barbuda flag.
